Schedule your first visit

Call our office or send an appointment request email using our website. In either case, our patient coordinator Jennifer will find an appointment time that fits with your schedule and gather some necessary information from you.

Preparation for your visit

Write down any questions or concerns you would like to discuss with Dr. Gray and bring them with you. Fill out patient forms. All our patient forms are available on our website so that you can print them and fill them out at your own home and at your convenience. If you would prefer to fill out the forms at our office, please arrive 10-15 minutes early. You can enjoy a cup of coffee in our comfortable lobby while filling out the forms.

What to expect at your new patient exam

Dr. Gray will review your health history with you and ask you about your goals for your teeth and what
you are looking for in a dental office. Our Dental Assistant, Courtney, will take digital radiographs (digital x-rays) of your teeth prescribed by Dr. Gray based on the condition of your teeth and gums.

Dr. Gray will look for any signs of oral cancer and decay. He will also evaluate your jaw joint and chewing muscles, the gums and bone around the teeth, the forces on the teeth, and dental work you already have.

We will take digital photographs of your teeth and your bite so that Dr. Gray can show you what he sees during his evaluation and will use fluorescent cavity detection to look for decay that could not be detected with an instrument.

Dr. Gray will review his findings and concerns with you and discuss the benefits and drawbacks of various treatment options that will help you achieve your goals for your teeth. If you would like, Dr. Gray can also discuss ways to improve the appearance of your smile. Jennifer will review fees and insurance coverage with you

If your treatment options are complex or you would like to discuss options further with Dr. Gray, we are happy to schedule you for another appointment where Dr. Gray can answer additional questions in our comfortable consult room. We want to answer all your questions and ensure you have enough information to make decisions about your teeth that are right for you.

Please give us a call or send us an email if you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment.
